Technical descriptions of car GAS-24 and his modifications
GAZ-24 – passenger, middle-class, with all-metal saloon sedan with seating capacity of 5-6. Sixth place is formed by a folding armrest and soft liner between the front seats and is designed for short trips. Designed to run on paved roads.
Taxi car GAZ-24-01 is different from the GAZ-24 engine installation model ZMZ-24-01 with a lower compression ratio to work on gasoline A-76.
GAZ-24-02 with a body “break”. Is designed to transport people and small cargo. Body of the car can be equipped with three rows of seats. Due to the increased load car has reinforced tires and rear springs.
GAZ-24-03 with a body “break” is adapted for the transport of sick and out teams to provide urgent medical care. The car is equipped with an additional heater compartment, special signals, and a lamp with a red cross symbol.
GAZ-24-04 with a body “break” is similar to GAZ-24-02, but as the car is equipped with a cab.
GAZ-24-07 is different from the GAZ-24 the presence of LPG equipment for use as a fuel, liquefied butane-propane mixture is intended for use as taxis in large cities.
